The design of  this residence was driven by the owner’s wishes to have a new home which looked like a little “Nantucket Cottage” that had always been on the hillside overlooking the beach. 

The residence has an open kitchen/dining/living room plan oriented to the views. A study/guest room, walk-in pantry, half bath and locker room complete with gang showers for their sports-focused children also occupy the first floor. Upstairs, a master suite, 3 bedrooms and a bath for the children, as well as plenty of storage space, nestle into the eaves.
